Example of imminent and significant risks
Imminent and significant public health risks would include:
- an infectious disease notification from a GP, hospital or official
- food poisoning affecting people from more than one family or household
- incidents requiring immediate treatment by a doctor
- major pollution incidents
- contact from government, public bodies and 'blue light' services
- contact from another Brent Council stand-by officer.
Requests or incidents not considered significant
Risks do not include:
- an infectious disease notification from a member of the public
- food poisoning incidents only affecting people from the same family or household
- minor incidents requiring no immediate treatment by a doctor
- requests for pest control treatments
- requests for the removal of animal carcasess including rodents
- enquries about lost or found animals
- refuse or dumped rubbish.
